Elmgreen & Dragset

ImageA summer’s day in June I met up with the artist Michael Elmgreen at Trafalgar Square. We sat down for almost two hours in the National Portrait Gallery’s café and talked. After some severe editing, the result is now published in Artlover. Anyway. If you read the interview, you’ll realise that Michael is quite concerned with contemporary society’s obessesive social positioning in the online space. For this issue, I also interviewed the mysterious art collective Slavs & Tatars: who refuse to have their real identities published (I know who they are). So what could be a more appropriate illustration to go with this post than a photograph of Yours Truly working the old Photo Booth?
